Cookie policy
Last updated 6 September 2026
Cookies are small files a website keeps in your browser. Ours fall into two groups: the ones the site needs to work, and the ones that measure how it is used. The second group only runs if you say yes.
The choice you make
The first time you visit, a small bar asks whether measurement cookies are fine by you. “Fine by me” turns them on. “No thanks” leaves only cookieless counting. Your choice is remembered in your browser’s own storage, not in a cookie and not on our servers, and you can change it whenever you like:
Cookies we set
Necessary
| Name | Set by | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-…-auth-token | French, Actually | Keeps our team signed in to the admin area. Only set for team members who sign in; visitors never get it. | Until they sign out |
Measurement, only with your yes
| Name | Set by | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_MV0NM5XCLE | Google Analytics | Tells a returning visitor from a new one and joins pages into one visit. | 2 years |
_clck | Microsoft Clarity | Keeps a Clarity visitor id and your settings. | 1 year |
_clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Joins the pages of one visit into a single recording. | 1 day |
CLID | Microsoft Clarity | When you first visited a site that uses Clarity. | 1 year |
ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM | Microsoft | Microsoft’s own cookies, used to tell visits apart and to detect fraud. We run no advertising. | 10 minutes to 1 year |
Two things run without cookies. Vercel Analytics counts visits with no cookie and no identifier at all. Google Analytics, before you have made a choice, sends only anonymous pings that carry no identifier, as Google’s consent mode requires.
Cookies from services you use through us
When you pay, you are on Stripe’s own checkout page, which sets its cookies (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) to prevent fraud. Google Meet and Google Calendar set theirs on Google’s pages. Those are governed by Stripe’s and Google’s privacy policies.
Your browser
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking all cookies keeps the public site working; only the team’s admin sign-in needs one.
